
Joi Dupre is a licensed massage therapist (GA MT004721 & FL MA59262) with 12 years experience. She received an AS degree in Natural Health with a concentration in Advance Therapeutic Massage from Florida College of Natural Health. Along with graduating summa cum laude, she was awarded the Golden Touch Award for her "Brilliant Performance and Dedication." She completed 924 hours of training and stays current with her continuing education always committed to providing the best care for her clients. Specializing in Therapeutic Massage: Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Joi blends her techniques to create a session that is customized to meet your individual needs. The following are a few musculoskeletal dysfunctions she has treated successfully: frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet syndrome, chronic neck and back pain, shoulder and rotator cuff injuries, SI joint dysfunction, tennis/golf elbow, headaches, and sport injuries. This year, Joi became a Certified IMAGO Relationship Community Educator. Her commitment to conscious relationships and passionate partnerships opens the door for couples to be heard, move from conflict to connection, and to create the relationship of their dreams. The seminars she leads are based on IMAGO Relationship Therapy created by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt: the authors of "Getting the Love You Want" and "Keeping the Love You Find".
In 2004, Joi graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with an MS in Exercise Science where she received the "Outstanding Exercise Science Graduate Student" award.
Technically trained and naturally funky best describes Joi. She received her BA in Dance from the University of South Florida in 1990. Throughout her career, she has performed and choreographed in many major cities across the United States being showcased in everything from music videos to national and international television programs. Among her endeavors, the following are highlights from her successful dance career. Joi was the artistic director and choreographer for GLAM SLAM Miami: a nightclub owned by Prince; In Super Bowl XXIX, she was a principle dancer for Patti LaBelle; and the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team strutted their stuff to her choreography. Joi was fortunate to have worked closely with and performed for such choreographers as Tina Landon (Janet Jackson) and Jamie King (Prince and Madonna).
